La casa rurale nella Vena del Gesso Romagnola
This first book of the series entitled "Quaderni del Parco" (Park's notebooks) is dedicated to a human aspect of the gypsum outcrops, and it deals with the territory's rural houses in the Vena del Gesso Park, with their historical and artistic values and the restoration perspectives, consistently with the development target of the protected area.
The book is the result of a campaign research promoted by the Province of Ravenna and carried out with dedication and care by Dr. Stefano Piastra from the Department for Hisotrical, Anthropological and Geographical subjects of the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna. Among the analyzed elements one especially stands out: the particular gypsum houses built on the Vena del Gesso. They are unique, just like this extraordinary territory where they are situated, and like the people who built them.
